About
Astrid (she/her/hers) is a Math Director at Student Achievement Partners, where she supports educators in implementing standards-aligned materials, enhancing instructional practices, and in creating welcoming and supportive classrooms. She has a B.A. in art history from St. Olaf College, teaching certification coursework from University of St. Thomas, and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from Viterbo University. She also previously served on the Board of the Wisconsin Mathematics Council and currently serves on the Board of NCSM.
Experience
Before joining SAP, Astrid spent 18 years in mathematics teaching, instructional coaching, and administration, and also taught pre-service and in-service teachers and administrations at the college level. Forever drawn to the beauty of the Great Lakes, she lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
