A Quote That Inspires Me
“If you have come here to help me, you are wasting your time. But if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together.” - Lilla Watson
About
Diana (she/her/hers) is a Director of Research and Evaluation at Student Achievement Partners, where she leads measurement, evaluation, and research activities. She collaborates with the SAP team to ensure methods and tools align with best practices and work towards our broader goal of supporting Black and multilingual students. Experience
As a first generation college student and middle school teacher turned researcher, Diana is passionate about making research accessible and practical for educators, community members, and policymakers. Prior to joining SAP, she spent over a decade working at the intersection of policy, practice, and research in the New York City metropolitan area, where her work focused on the experiences of Black and/or Latinx students and families with education and public policy. Diana spends her weekends and evenings enjoying New York's Hudson Valley, where she lives with her partner and three children.
