What I Work On

In my role as a Project Manager, I collaborate with and support team members and partners on education-focused initiatives that promote student success and increase student performance. I am responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

Why I Work Here

I work at Student Achievement Partners because of the organization’s commitment to preparing students to thrive academically, lead choice-filled lives, deliver on the promise of public education and unlock student potential. This approach to education really resonates with me because I seek opportunities that allow me to contribute to student success efforts and positively impact the overall student experience.

My Education and Experience

My experience as a collegiate athlete inspired me to pursue a career that allowed me to support students, positively impact the student experience and contribute to student success. Prior to joining Student Achievement Partners, I worked as a Student Success Manager at an ed tech start up advising adult learners during their academic journeys while developing strategies to improve student performance. However, I got my start working with and for students in higher education and I’ve had the opportunity to coach middle and high school track and field athletes. At Loyola University Maryland I created and oversaw the Career Services Sponsorship Program, a program designed specifically for first generation and marginalized students, which provided students with an alumni mentor for a semester of goal setting, networking and professional development. I am always interested in the different ways that I can show up for all students, whether directly or indirectly, and I seek opportunities and organizations that are focused on student success efforts that are designed for existing gaps in student privilege and aim to help close economic gaps.

More About Me

I live in Virginia at a boarding school where my husband teaches and coaches. I have a daughter and a mini Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler). I am an avid runner and I love to watch (and discuss) a good tv show. I’ve been reading more books this past year and I support any activity that involves food, specifically Mexican. If I could have dinner with 3 people at the same time, they’d be: Allyson Felix, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and Issa Rae.
