A Quote That Inspires Me
"Nobody built like you, you design yourself" ― Jay-Z
What I Work On
I support the development of our tools, resources, and actions in service of equitable instruction.
Why I Work Here
Passion led me here, access to continuous learning has kept me here. Being partners in the work of designing, with students at the center, presents opportunities to learn, make mistakes, and innovate in new ways. With a particular focus on anti-racist practices, my identity has a space to lead, grow, and be expansive in varying contexts. Best part: I get to be a dreamer at the table.
My Education and Experience
Over the last 10 years, I have worked in school-based and non-profit roles serving Black and multilingual communities in Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and Los Angeles. My work has primarily been centered on disrupting white supremacy and assimilation practices in instruction and programming, specifically designing human-centered practices and community-based shifts. I received a B.S. in Education from Temple University and a M.Ed. from Towson University.
More About Me
I live in Los Angeles by way of Philadelphia with a love for reading, staying in touch with my inner child, and endless nature walks and cross-country drives.
